Health and Safety

Health and Safety is one of our top priorities. Our safety practices are in line with CDC and Alameda County guidelines. At our site, you will see the following practices in use:

  • Frequent hand-washing and use of hand sanitizer

  • Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces

  • Modified drop off and pick up procedures

  • Daily health screening procedures, including temperature screenings and home health updates

Founders & Directors

Vaishnavee Ragavan

Vaishnavee is an energetic and caring mother of two children and has a bachelor's degree in Computer science from India. After relocating to the USA, she found her passion in the field of Early Childhood Education (0-8yrs) and accomplished Associate Degree in Child Development with distinction from De Anza College. Simultaneously, she was working as a teacher at a newly established multiple-intelligence preschool at Sunnyvale. With two years of experience, she acquired her Site Supervisor Permit. Later, she and her friend Kaushika found a home based, high quality preschool, Shiksha Early Education Center. Currently, she is upgrading her education program to center based. Moreover, she is multi talented who actively learns and does dance, scout volunteering, tailoring, arts, crafts, painting, drawing, music, fitness activities like running, yoga, hiking, etc. She has been performing different forms of dances on stage since childhood and teaches dance for young children; also, she is learning vocal carnatic music. In addition, she has completed half marathon 3 times since 2019 and continues running. With the understanding of child development, encouraging the young children to be active learners through their interests with love and care is her first priority.

Kaushika Nattanmai Saravana Prabhu

Kaushika has a Master’s Degree in Business Management and left her promising career to be with her children. She found her passion in teaching when she took her children to Montessori preschools in India. She began teaching Accelerated Math for children aged 5 to 14 years. After relocating to the US, she joined De Anza College and started taking Child Development classes. She secured a Certificate of Achievement with Distinction. Currently, she has a Site Supervisor permit in Early Childhood Education. Teaching young children has always been her passion and she worked in top rated preschools in the Bay area. Finally she realized her dream of starting her own preschool along with her friend Vaishnavee in 2020. Shiksha Early Education, a high quality home based preschool was born. Besides teaching she loves to cook for her family and friends, play basketball, run long distance races and explore places! She is currently teaching in Sourashtra School, training for a half marathon, learning Indian classical carnatic music and enrolled in Campbell adult basketball league. Working with children gives her the best experience and she strongly believes that teachers enable their students to learn and grow, helping them become what they are capable of!
